About the Role

We’re looking for a Data Analyst who knows how to turn messy, real-world data into clarity and direction.

You will work at the intersection of data, product, and algorithms, helping the team understand system behavior, validate decisions, and uncover opportunities for improvement. This role is critical in bridging raw production data and actionable insights that drive both model development and business impact.

If you enjoy digging into noisy datasets, asking the right questions, and influencing decisions with data, you’ll fit right in.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze large-scale sensor, production, and system data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
  • Define, track, and interpret KPIs related to system performance, model behavior, and business outcomes
  • Support model development by exploring data, validating assumptions, and generating insights
  • Build dashboards and reports to monitor real-time system behavior and long-term trends
  • Investigate issues in production systems and perform root cause analysis
  • Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product stakeholders to translate data into decisions
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across different sources
  • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role
  • Strong SQL skills, with experience querying large-scale data (preferably with Trino or similar engines)
  • Hands-on experience with PySpark for data processing and analysis
  • Experience working with modern data lake architectures (e.g., Iceberg, Parquet)
  • Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy)
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools (LLMs, copilots, etc.) to accelerate analysis and exploration
  • Solid understanding of statistics and data analysis techniques
  • Experience working with real-world, messy, or time-series data
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and drive insights from ambiguous data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with distributed query engines and large-scale data processing
  • Experience with time-series analysis or anomaly detection
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments with evolving data and priorities
