This role provides an opportunity to join Hexion as a Commercial Sales Intern, focusing on bringing our innovative, high-quality products to our customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Actively support SaaS implementation project via daily stand-ups, user research and user story development, and user acceptance testing. This will include learning about ERP and Pricing Management systems and commercial sales and pricing processes.
- Work cross-functionally with various functions outside of commercial (i.e. supply-chain, finance, etc.) to develop critical commercial analytics dashboards
- Development of financial models for Sales, Finance, and Marketing that measure product and region performance; actively engage in cross-functional brainstorming of data-derived business strategies
- Prepare senior leadership level communications both written and oral
- Collaborate on the development and execution of sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Attend business meetings and training sessions to learn about our products/services and sales techniques.
- The key focus of this role is to provide varying levels of support and analytics to the Commercial team across a variety of global projects and initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
The required skills, knowledge and experience include:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong analytics, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and succeed in a sales-driven environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with SAP software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
