Position Overview
Lead and operationalize Hexion’s global supply chain execution strategy, ensuring world-class performance in service, cost, and reliability across manufacturing, and logistics. Drive end-to-end execution
systems to enable responsive, data-driven decision-making that balances efficiency, sustainability, and customer fulfillment. Champion operational discipline, continuous improvement, and digital
transformation across all supply chain service platforms.
This is a remote position.
Job Responsibilities
- Direct global supply chain operations spanning logistics, warehousing, and customer fulfillment.
- Deliver exceptional service levels while driving measurable improvement in working capital and cost-to-serve.
- Global execution KPIs, OTIF, inventory turns, cost, and order cycle time.
- Establish governance processes, standardize execution frameworks, and create visibility through advanced analytics dashboards.
- Partner with IT, Transformation Office, and Business Units to implement next-generation digital execution systems. Ensure data integrity, automation, and end-to-end visibility across planning and logistics.
- Operationalize the global S&OP process by translating strategic demand and supply plans
- Drive alignment between Commercial, Manufacturing, and Procurement for synchronized global delivery.
- Oversee executional readiness for footprint optimization, capacity expansions, and regional manufacturing shifts.
- Strengthen global supply resilience through proactive risk management and scenario planning.
- Build and mentor a high-performing global execution team. Develop a culture of accountability, agility, and cross-functional collaboration focused on safety, quality, and results.
- Drive executional excellence through Lean/Six Sigma and process simplification.
Knowledge, Skills, Attributes and Experience (KSAEs)
- Deep expertise in chemical manufacturing and process industry supply chains, including batch processing, co-/by-product management, and regulatory compliance.
- Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations from sourcing and production scheduling through warehousing, distribution, customer delivery, ESG frameworks, sustainable logistics practices, and regulatory compliance in chemical manufacturing.
- Strong command of S&OP / IBP integration, network optimization, and production execution frameworks.
- Knowledge of global trade, logistics regulations, and sustainability practices (REACH, GHS, ESG metrics, and responsible sourcing).
- Advanced understanding of supply chain risk management, resilience planning, and scenario-based decision support.
- Financial literacy in cost modeling, ROI justification, and operational P&L ownership.
- High level of proficiency with ERP and advanced planning systems (SAP IBP, S/4HANA, APO, o9, Kinaxis).
- High data fluency with analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) for performance management and insight generation.
- Adept at contract negotiation and vendor management across logistics, 3PL, and strategic sourcing relationships.
- This role is pivotal in advancing Hexion’s global supply chaintransformation, bridging strategy and execution to delivertangible value. The Global Execution Director will ensure thatoperational excellence becomes a competitive advantagedriving agility, resilience, and profitable growth across our globalmanufacturing and distribution network.

Experience
- 10+ years of progressive global supply chain leadership spanning manufacturing, logistics, and customer fulfillment within complex, multi-region chemical or process industries.
- Proven track record of large-scale transformation delivery, including ERP/IBP implementations, network optimization, and end-to-end execution performance improvement in service, cost, and working capital.
- Demonstrated success leading diverse, high-performing global teams, driving operational excellence, digital integration, and resilience across dynamic market conditions.
