Position Overview

 

Responsible to manage and expand the regional accounts for the Global Formaldehyde business in North America.   This includes executing and negotiating contracts, identifying M&A opportunities, identifying, developing and introducing innovative solutions for existing and new customer markets, and being a champion of our new CRM process.

 

Position location is flexible 

Job Responsibilities

 

Profit and Loss Management​:

  • Responsible for delivering financial performance of the North America Formaldehyde business.  This includes executing and renegotiating contracts and identifying opportunities to optimize processes and drive financial performance improvements. 
  • Understand market dynamics to take advantage of unique opportunities to capture share and incremental growth in the individual markets and regions.

 

Marketing and Business Development:​

  • Establish strong marketing and business development strategies and initiatives to scale and grow the NA business.Identify M&A opportunities
  • Suggest product line development through customer contact and market interface
  • Provide insights and analysis on market and industry attractiveness, value chain analysis, product portfolio management, branding strategy and channel and customer contract strategy, in conjunction and collaboration with Director of NA Formaldehyde and Marketing Communications​
  • Provides business development support for ongoing projects (gaining the voice of the customer, understanding unmet needs, developing the value proposition)​

 

Cost Optimization and Operational Efficiency:

  • Implement effective cost management and optimization procedures and plans to improve and protect profitability.
  • Be a strong advocate and partner in the rollout of the new commercial excellence processes including Microsoft Dynamics Pricing FX and the implementation of a CRM process across North America. 
  • Partner with local site and supply chain resources to optimize the cost to serve for our customer base.

Minimum Qualifications

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Marketing and Business Development
  • P&L Management
  • M&A experience
  • Sales and Pricing
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

Experience:

  • ~8 year’s plus of successful commercial and business development track record of top- and bottom-line growth. 
  • 3 years or more of contract negotiations and contract clause writing.
  • BS Degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

 

Travel: 

  • 25-30%.
