Position Overview

 

This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the US. 

 

Maximize the contribution of the Formaldehyde intermediates business through analysis, identification and execution of projects for value creation through close coordination with sales, supply chain, procurement, and operations

Job Responsibilities

 

Product Line Management

  • Provide product line support at key accounts through customer visits, presentations, training and commercial support for technical projects
  • Support the development, communication and implementation of the product line strategy, including market analysis, forecasting volumes, asset strategy, providing market management with product/price/promotion, price/volume decision-making, and monitoring product margins.
  • Provide volume, revenue, cost, margin inputs for annual business planning and target setting process
  • Collaborate with Strategic Marketing partner for customer needs, market trends and competitive landscape for development of value proposition, product positioning, and messaging to differentiate the product line
  • Convert market changes into opportunities for growth
  • Provide timely technical services to sales and customers by working with R&D/Tech service team
  • Assist sales team on contract management 
  • Implement effective cost management and optimization procedures and plans to improve and protect profitability
  • Become formaldehyde process technology steward for


Sales Process Excellence

  • Develops and maintains sales processes and discipline leveraging practices, behaviors and outcomes that drive long-term success
  • Maximizes performance through tools, training and continuous improvement
  • Develops on-going processes for identification of margin improvement opportunities and product rationalization

 

Partnerships

  • Supports the commercial teams’ sales activities to secure growth opportunities, including new product commercialization
  • Assists in the resolution of product quality concerns
  • Collaborates with global and regional marketing, operations, procurement, supply chain, regulatory and commercial teams to achieve business goals
  • Fosters and maintains strong business and customer partnerships
  • Partners with Marketing and R&D/Tech Services function for developing, marketing and selling new products

Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in technical, commercial and/or product management roles
  • Experience and knowledge of chemical process engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, marketing, business or related field.
  • Experience with pricing market analysis
