Position Overview

 

To monitor the technical integrity of pressure equipment by carrying out inspections and examinations within applicable legislation (Warenwetbesluit Drukapparatuur) in order to obtain business objectives in compliance with EHS procedures.

Job Responsibilities

 

Accountabilities:    

  • Independently execute inspections and report on results:
  • Develop inspection plans;
  • Participate in Risk Based Inspection analyses;
  • Manage and report on changes in the technical registration system;
  • Manage contractors in carrying out the inspection scope;
  • Independently manage inspection requests:
  • Prioritize inspection activities.
  • Contribute to the relationship with Lloyds Register Netherlands (NL-CBI).
  • Independently manage annual RBMI line inspection program in conjunction with integrity leas (for project deliverables)

 

Decision making authority:  

  • Change Inspection register for Inspection planning and History;
  • Field report recommendations as result of inspection;
  • Assessment of pressure equipment under supervision of Sr Inspector;
  • Approval/Rejection of results on inspection activities as part of Inspection plan.

  • Internal:
    • Asset Integrity Manager;
    • Inspectors;
    • Discipline Engineers;
    • Operations coordinator and shifts;
    • Maintenance department;
    • Project organization.
  • External:
    • Manufacturers;
    • Contractors NDT;
    • LRQA NL-CBI – EU CBI;
    • DCMR;
    • Labour Inspection.

Minimum Qualifications

 
  • MBO (technical direction)
  • Certified Inspection and Testing Expert SKK level II or equivalent
  • Good engineering capabilities
  • Knowledge of plants
  • Plant degradation mechanisms
  • Risk bases inspection methods
  • 5 years of working experience in similar positions
  • Self contained breathing apparatus SCBA certification.
  • Drivers license 
  • Positive test at powers of vision and no physical restrictions due to working in confined spaces and working at high altitude
  • SCBA physical fitness with repeating medical testing
  • Preferable: NDO levels, weld knowledge, material knowledge, Auditor of storage tank;

Other

 

If currently an employee of the Company, you must have current satisfactory work performance and in most cases, have been in your current role for 18 months.
