Position Overview

 

The lead ensures that the daily and long-term maintenance, Planning & Scheduling and the MRO of the maintenance organization are carried out safely, within the agreed quality, time and budget to optimize production facilities, quality and safety standards.
 
Essential Functions:
Contribute to the preparation of both preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with the applicable procedure. This includes optimizing material management and continuing to improve the Planning & Scheduling and Warehouse departments.

Job Responsibilities

 

The Planning/Scheduling & Warehouse Lead reports to the Technical Manager and replaces the Maintenance Team Lead in his absence. The Lead Planning/Scheduling & Warehouse is part of the Technical Management Team.
General:

  • Responsible for the development of best practices, quality improvement and implementation of policies and procedures surrounding Maintenance Planning & Scheduling;
  • Responsible for the development of best practices, quality improvement and implementation of Warehouse policies and procedures (MRO);
  • Responsible for the correct preparation (including Zero-based budget), full implementation of preventive maintenance and its optimization;
  • Responsible for delivering MI scope on time
  • Responsible for up-to-date payments from contractors;
  • Responsible for managing the preventive and corrective preparation of all maintenance work within the (predetermined) budget and agreed time against the agreed quality standards;
  • Responsible for maintaining and improving Planning & Scheduling management systems;
  • Responsible for monitoring, controlling and organizing the material flows within the maintenance organization;
  • Responsible for quality improvement of the total work packages of the Planning & Scheduling department;
  • Responsible for updating the work processes in the management system and keeping them available for the Planning & Scheduling and Warehouse team.

 

HSE/Q:

  • Responsible for compliance with all local HSE/Q policies and Hexion guidelines applicable to maintenance preparation and MRO;
  • Responsible for the HSE/Q performance of the direct reports;
  • Carrying out audits and observation rounds to improve safety performance;
  • Announce and maintain the relevant procedures and instructions in the maintenance team and share them with contractors before they start work.

 

Staff:

  • Responsible for the performance management of the team by setting objectives/KPIs and assessing and assessing ongoing performance;
  • Responsible for safety regulations as a role model and proactively identifies improvement potential;
  • Co-responsible for training, development and coaching of direct and indirect reports;
  • Managing the Planning & Scheduling team;
  • Manage and manage the Warehouse Team

 

KPIs:

  • Optimal maintenance planning and scheduling processes in line with site requirements and objectives;
  • Preventive maintenance annual plan for the coming year;
  • Zero-based budget for the preventive maintenance scope for the current and coming year;
  • Preventive maintenance fully carried out;
  • Balance between inventory levels and spare part positions (MRO);
  • End-of-year stock control for materials (MRO), assessing any discrepancies and taking follow-up actions.

Minimum Qualifications

 
  • MBO+/HBO work and thinking level (technical/organizational direction) with additional training and education;
  • Experience in a similar position;
  • Familiar with planning and scheduling methodologies;
  • Understanding and insight into the technical and financial requirements regarding MOC procedures, and the associated laws and regulations.
