Position Overview

 

As an Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of expanding our client base across Europe. Your primary focus will be on identifying and securing new business opportunities, driving significant sales growth. Building and nurturing strong relationships with both new and existing clients will be key to your success. Fluency in English is required.

Job Responsibilities

 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with chemical clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the chemical sector.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Negotiate contract terms and close sales agreements with key clients.
  • Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure long-term client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Global Technical Service and R&D to align product development with market needs.
  • Lead new product and application launches through VOC, market mapping, and commercialization.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and seminars.

  • Proven success in new customer acquisition and product/application development.
  • Strong commercial skills, relationship-building, and value-selling expertise.
  • Good understanding of price and margin drivers 
  • Experience in project management, new technology launches, and supply chain understanding.
  • Ability to identify market trends and align them with product capabilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in key markets.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization.
  • Willingness to travel internationally. 

Minimum Qualifications

 
  • Technical Sales and Business development experience in polymers, adhesives, coatings, construction industry. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English. 
  • ICT capabilities: Office: Outlook, fluent in Excel, PPT, CRM systems.
  • Digital Marketing, Social Media capabilities is a plus.
