Position Overview

To support the continued growth of our VeoVa® and Cardura® monomers—key building blocks for 
high-performance coatings and adhesives we are looking for a Technical Service Lab Technician to 
join our team in Pernis, Netherlands.

In this role, you will contribute directly to customer support by preparing, testing, and evaluating 
waterborne emulsions and solvent-borne resins. You will work in close collaboration with technical, 
commercial, and manufacturing teams to solve customer challenges and deliver high-quality results. 

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented professional with a strong sense of ownership, 
scientific curiosity, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, formulate, apply, and evaluate resins and emulsions for coatings and adhesive 
  applications 
• Plan and execute experimental programs in alignment with project objectives 
• Perform laboratory work independently while maintaining high quality standards 
• Ensure timely delivery of results; proactively communicate progress, risks, and solutions 
• Analyze and interpret experimental data to generate clear, actionable insights 
• Maintain accurate and complete laboratory documentation (lab notebooks, data records) 
• Prepare reports and communicate results clearly, both verbally and in writing 
• Support customer technical inquiries with structured, high-quality responses 
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and manufacturing to address customer needs 
• Take ownership of laboratory operations (equipment care, chemical ordering, sample 
  shipment) 
• Ensure full compliance with EHS standards, maintaining a safe and organized work 
  environment 

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field 
• Experience in polymer chemistry, coatings, or emulsions is a strong advantage 
• Hands-on laboratory experience with a structured and disciplined approach 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Proactive team player with the ability to work independently 
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; customer-oriented mindset 
• Comfortable working with standard software tools 
• Fluent in Dutch and English
