Position Overview

Plan, prepare and execute turnarounds within the agreed time and against agreed quality and budget. 

Essential Functions

Turn Arounds 

  • Accountable for the delivery of assigned turn arounds within budget and agreed time against the agreed quality standards. 

 

HSE/Q

  • Accountable for compliance with all local HSE/Q policies and Hexion guidelines applicable to assigned projects

 

General

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures around turn arounds.

 

Decision Making Authority

  • All approvals as laid out in the DOA can be independently decided.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare, execute and lead Turn arounds according
    • HSE guidelines and procedures
    • Global TAR process
    • Long term TAR planning
    • Cost controlling guidelines
    • Operational guidelines (LOTO, commissioning, spading, etc)
  • Forecast, control and monitor all cost related to Turn arounds
  • Align with business, internal and external stakeholders on long term TAR planning
  • Lead and manage the TAR team
    • Timeliness to global TAR process
    • Adherence to SHE guidelines and procedures
    • Quality and execution of work
    • Ensure proper training and development
    • Hold and follow up on performance reviews
      Balance between contractor and Hexion personnel

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree (i.e. HTS) or master degree (Technical University)
  • Technical background in Engineering
  • Background / Experience in TA management
  • Minimal 10 years’ experience in TA and/or projects in an international environment and chemical- or engineering contracting industry.
