Role Mission
Drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and commercial productivity through AI-enabled capabilities across Hexion’s commercial engine. Lead discovery, prioritization, delivery, and adoption of AI solutions across Sales, Pricing, Marketing, Customer Service, and Market Intelligence — enabling Hexion to win more, price smarter, and serve customers faster.
Job Responsibilities
- Define and execute a commercial AI strategy aligned to Hexion’s growth objectives; identify and commercialize AI use cases that directly impact revenue, margin, and customer experience.
- Lead enterprise deployment of AI/ML across commercial workflows: dynamic pricing guidance, intelligent account prioritization, churn/mix erosion prediction, and LLM/NLP-based win-loss and market signal intelligence.
- Own architecture and delivery of scalable commercial AI platforms: CRM-embedded AI copilots, pricing engine and CPQ integrations, and client-facing self-service portals.
- Lead end-to-end change management for every initiative — stakeholder mapping, SOP/workflow redesign, training playbooks, adoption dashboards, and office hours for commercial teams.
- Own Commercial AI portfolio intake, prioritization, and governance cadence: use-case councils, quarterly roadmap balancing quick wins with longer-horizon bets, and KPI value tracking reported to executive sponsors.
- Serve as connective tissue across Commercial, IT, Data Science, and Product — translating commercial needs into scalable AI solutions and ensuring business ownership of outcomes.
- Manage strategic vendors, technology partners, and external AI solution providers; ensure alignment with enterprise AI standards for responsible AI, data policy, and compliance.
- Build commercial AI fluency programs and communities of practice — helping frontline teams trust AI-assisted insights on pricing, customer risk, and market intelligence.
- Establish operating models supporting rapid experimentation and disciplined delivery; mentor cross-functional teams and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and execution.
- Ensure AI solutions are production-grade, explainable, and trusted by frontline commercial teams; build reusable solution patterns to accelerate cross-functional deployment.
- Partner with executive leadership to translate AI investments into sustained commercial growth; present transparent roadmap and forecast vs. realized value to executive sponsors.
Knowledge, Skills, Attributes and Experience (KSAEs
- 10+ years in commercial transformation, digital/product, analytics/AI, revenue operations, consulting, or commercial excellence roles.
- Proven track record leading cross-functional transformation and driving adoption — not just building models or tools.
- Strong product thinking: ability to define user journeys, requirements, MVP scope, and scale path for AI solutions.
- Solid understanding of GenAI/ML capabilities and delivery patterns (RAG, copilots, agentic workflows, MLOps) sufficient to partner effectively with technical teams.
- Experience with governance, portfolio prioritization, KPI measurement, and executive-level communication.
- Demonstrated change leadership: training, communications, operating model/process redesign, and stakeholder alignment.
- High level of proficiency with ERP particularly SAP
- CRM and commercial stack familiarity: Salesforce/Dynamics, CPQ, pricing tools, marketing automation, customer service platforms. (Preferred)
- Experience commercializing or scaling AI-enabled products/platforms; vendor evaluation and partner management for AI solutions. (Preferred)
