Position Overview

 

Lead regional growth strategy execution in AP, including South Korean sales. Drive short-term growth opportunities with account managers and develop market expansion plans. Support new business through product and application development. Oversee regional marketing communications. Fluency in Korean required.

Job Responsibilities

 
  • Identify and close growth opportunities in collaboration with account managers.
  • Drive regional growth strategy and sales in South Korea, including key account management, budgeting, and distribution.
  • Conduct market diagnostics to assess industry trends, competition, customer needs, and regulations.
  • Develop and execute regional marketing strategies (4Ps) for base growth and new business development.
  • Work with sales teams to define customer value propositions and execute market rollouts.
  • Build business cases for new initiatives and present strategic recommendations.
  • Establish strong industry relationships and drive marketing communications.
  • Collaborate with Global Technical Service and R&D to align product development with market needs.
  • Lead new product and application launches through VOC, market mapping, and commercialization.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and seminars.

  • Experience in project management, new technology launches, and supply chain understanding.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in key markets.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix organization.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (~40%).

Minimum Qualifications

 
  • Technical / Engineering background. MBA is a plus
  • Over 10 years Technical Sales and Business development experience in polymers, adhesives, coatings, construction industry 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in Chinese, South Korean &English .
  • ICT capabilities: Office: Outlook, fluent in Excel, PPT, CRM systems
  • Digital Marketing, Social Media capabilities is a plus.
