This position serves as the primary maintenance leader for the site and is responsible for maintenance execution, work management, reliability improvement, mechanical integrity compliance, contractor coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a working leadership role that combines hands-on technical involvement with leadership, planning, scheduling, and maintenance system ownership.

Leadership Expectations

This role is expected to build systems, processes, and accountability that improve long-term maintenance performance. Success is measured not only by completing work, but by creating sustainable maintenance and reliability processes that support safe and reliable plant operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive housekeeping, 5S, and visual management initiatives.

Maintenance Execution & Work Management

  • Identify and eliminate chronic equipment issues (“bad actors”).
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective action implementation.
  • Track and improve asset performance metrics and MTBF.

Mechanical Integrity & Compliance

  • Ensure PM and PdM programs are effective and executed on schedule.
  • Support inspection programs, pressure vessel compliance, fire protection systems, interlock testing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure audit findings, ATS actions, and compliance-related work orders are completed on time.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

  • Review labor utilization, contractor costs, and maintenance KPIs.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, visual management, standard work, and operational excellence programs.
  • Support site initiatives such as PSIP, 4DX, and reliability improvement efforts.

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience.
